Movement educator blending pilates, yoga, and mindful healing
About Rya Letham
Rya is a movement educator and lifelong student of the body, dedicated to helping people reconnect with their strength, ease, and inner awareness through Pilates, yoga, and integrative practices.
With nearly 30 years in health education, she holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics (UBC) and a Bachelor of Education (SFU), along with extensive training in Pilates, yoga, and functional movement. Rya completed her classical Pilates apprenticeship in 2016 and her 500-hour advanced yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India in 2010, blending mindfulness, alignment, and fluid movement to support a resilient, balanced body.
As an Original Strength Certified Professional Coach and Core Confidence Specialist, she incorporates nervous system support and posture-based exercises that enhance stability, coordination, and a sense of calm and connection.
Rya is currently a Biodynamic Craniosacral Student Therapist, completing her 700-hour training with Body Intelligence, deepening her understanding of the body’s innate capacity to heal and self-regulate.
She has worked with a wide range of clients—from children and athletes to prenatal and postpartum mothers and seniors—and is known for creating a supportive, intuitive space where clients can explore movement in a meaningful and empowering way.
Based in Pemberton, BC, Rya teaches at Pemberton Physiotherapy & Wellness, the Pemberton & District Community Centre, and online.
I am motivated by the nature of infinity, infinite nature, one's true nature and being in nature.
